Domain
Purchase and configure a domain name for your application.
If you haven't already, purchase a domain name from a registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy.
Tips for Choosing a Domain
- Keep it short and simple.
- Make it easy to spell and remember.
- Use keywords relevant to your product.
- Avoid numbers and hyphens.
Email Sending Domain
Once you have a domain, set up a professional email sending domain for transactional emails (e.g., welcome emails, magic links).
Login to Resend
Go to Resend and sign in.
Add your domain
On the left sidebar, click Domains → Add Domain.
Enter your domain name and click Add Domain.
You'll be provided with DNS records to add to your domain registrar.
Add DNS records
Add the provided DNS records to your domain registrar, then click Verify DNS Records.
It may take a few minutes for DNS records to propagate.
Update the from email
In production, update the RESEND_FROM_EMAIL environment variable to use your domain:
